Week three is now over and my skill level has improved dramatically, my confidence with markers have also increased and I feel like I understand reflections and how they react to the car and environment around it. The first render I am very happy with I think it shows a good understanding of reflections and fairly good marker technique, the only thing which is majorly wrong is the shadow for the wing mirror which is the wrong shape and should be a longer shape which stretches down the door. The second drawing I used a variety of techniques such as white gel pens for the highlights with the windscreen and front lights, I also used a technique that DK told me about which is drawing a line down the car and lightly shading one side of the line, however when I try this again I will move the shade line to the right making it, not in the centre of the car which will give more realistic shade effect. I also want to add more depth to the front grill and vents to make them look more recessed. The third drawing was the first drawing I did at the start of week four after Shaun did a demonstration about reflection, my improvement is huge in my opinion my reflections look relatively accurate with there shape but could do with improvement with the shade of them: however, I do still have a lot that I can learn and I will continue to try and improve my skills to become the best that I can.
